MIGRATION SAVING UPTO £50 It uses your normal phone line to provide you with an always-on Internet connection with download speeds of up to 8Mbps*. ADSLMax is slightly different to our other, 'fixed-rate' ADSL services. This is because the ADSLMax services are 'rate adaptive'. ADSLMax will allow an ADSL connection of up to 8Mbps* download and up to 448Kbps* upload, or up to 896Kbps* for ADSLMax+ (ADSLMax Premium). The actual speed of the connection you get, however, can depend on your line quality and the distance you are from your local telephone exchange. ADSLMax will connect you to the internet at the fastest, error free, rate that your line will allow, up to 8Mbps*. This is determined during the first 10 days your service is connected, where you might see your sync rate fluctuate slightly before settling down.
