Email Configuration for Eudora Email for Windows

How do I configure the Eudora email program with my Surfanytime email address for Macintosh?

1. With Eudora opened, please refer to the Special menu, and select the Configuration option. A dialog box will appear with certain fields that you'll configure for sending/receiving mail messages.

2. The POP Account setting would be your Surfanytime username, along with the POP Server for receiving mail messages. This would be input in the following format, replacing the "username" with your specific setting:

  username@mail.surfanytime.net

3. In the Real Name field, you can input your full name or nickname, according to your preference. This will appear within any messages sent to other users.

4. For the Connection Method, please set to either MacTCP or TCP/IP, depending on which you are using to dialup to the Internet through Surfanytime.

5. The SMTP Server is responsible for sending your mail messages. This should be set to the following:

  smtp.surfanytime.net

6. With the Return Address setting, this would be your Surfanytime email address, and the one user's will direct their replies for the messages you send to them. This would be input in the following format, replacing the "emailname" part with your specific setting, and may or may not be the same as your username:

  emailname@surfanytime.net

The other options can be left as default, or you can set according to your preference. Click the OK button near the bottom, in order to store your settings for future use. Following are details for sending and receiving mail messages with Eudora on the Macintosh.
