| Dialup Setup Information :
For specific instructions to
set up your computer to automatically dial SurfAnytime and
connect to the internet, we have easy to use, step-by-step
instructions for:

1.
Click the hard drive icon on your desktop, and then click
the "Applications (Mac OS 9)",
"Utilities" and "Assistants" icons as
they appear in that order.
2. Within the "Assistants" section, click
the "Internet Setup Assistant" icon, which will
initiate the setup process for the dialer program.
3. For the "Would you like to setup your
computer to use the Internet?" option, click
"Yes". For the "Do you already have an
Internet account?" option, click the "Yes"
button.
4. After reviewing the Introduction section that
follows, click the right arrow button in the bottom right
corner. For the "What would you like to name this
configuration?" option, type the word Surfanytime.
5. For the "How will you be connecting to the
Internet?" option, select "Modem", and click
the right arrow button in the bottom right corner. For the
"Which modem are you using?" option, select
"Apple Internal 56K Modem".
6. For the "Which port is the modem connected
to?" option, select "Internal Modem". For the
"Does your phone line use tone or pulse?" option,
select "Tone". For the "Ignore dial
tone?" option, leave this box unchecked, and click the
right arrow button in the bottom right corner.
7. For the "What is the access phone number for
this configuration?" option, type the Surfanytime
dialup number that is local to your area. Surfanytime's
dialup numbers can be found at http://www.surfanytime.net/support
8. For the "What name do you use with this
service?" option, type your Surfanytime username,
exactly as it appears in your confirmation email.
9. For the "What is your password?" option,
type your Surfanytime password, exactly as it appears in
your confirmation email. Click the right arrow button in the
bottom right corner.
10. For the "Does your ISP require that you use
a PPP Connect Script when you login?" option, select
"No", and click the right arrow button in the
bottom right corner. For the "Is there an IP address
for this configuration?" option, select "No",
and click the right arrow button in the bottom right corner.
11. Leave the two fields in the "Domain Name
Servers" setup area blank, and click the right arrow
button in the bottom right corner. For the "What is the
e-mail address for this configuration?" option, input
your Surfanytime email address (yourusername@surfanytime.net).
12. For the "What is the e-mail password for
this configuration?" option, input your Surfanytime
password, and click the right arrow button in the bottom
right corner.
13. For the "What is the e-mail account for this
configuration?" option, input your Surfanytime username
along with our @mail.surfanytime.net address. For example,
if your username is fred123, input as fred123@mail.surfanytime.net
14. For the "What is the e-mail host for this
configuration?" option, type our smtp.surfanytime.net
address, and click the right arrow button in the bottom
right corner.
15. For the "NNTP(Network News Transfer
Protocol) host" option, type our supernews.surfanytime.netaddress,
and click the right arrow button in the bottom right corner.
For the "Do you use proxy servers for Internet
connections?" option, select "No", and click
the right arrow button in the bottom right corner.
16. You should now see a Conclusion message, that
confirms the setup of your Internet Setup Assistant. Uncheck
the option "Connect When Finished", and click the
"Go Ahead" button.
17. To start your Internet connection, click the
"Remote Access" button within your toolbar strip
on the desktop. Select the "Connect" option in the
pop-up menu. This will dialup your modem, verify your
username and password, and connect you to the Internet.
